Q. Do I need to come with a partner?

No, you do not need a partner for the class. This is a followers ONLY class so no partner is required.

Q. What type of shoes should I wear?

If you already have dance shoes, then bring those. If you don't have dance shoes, then something with a leather or suede sole is best. If not, then just wear your most comfortable pair of shoes.

Q. What type of clothes should I wear to class?

Wear whatever you will feel most comfortable in. West Coast Swing is a very casual dance so wear your favorite jeans and t-shirt if you want.

Your instructor is Shelley Saxena. Shelley has been dancing, studying and competing in West Coast Swing for 18 years. With an extensive background in Jazz, Ballet and Modern dance, Shelley now specializes in West Coast Swing.

Q. Do I need any previous dance experience to take the ladies styling class?

This is NOT a class for complete beginners. You must have at least one year of recent experience as a follower in West Coast Swing and be comfortable with ​the 6-count and 8-count basics.
